ISC 2021 calls for submission of research papers by December 10, 2020

FRANKFURT, Germany, October 12, 2020 – Submissions are now open for the ISC High Performance Research Paper Sessions (ISC 2021). These sessions offer engineers and scientists from academia, industry and government a unique and interactive opportunity to share their latest research in the areas of high performance computing, networking, storage, machine learning and data analysis with the ISC audience. Submissions will be accepted until December 10, with abstracts indicating an intent to submit due December 3.

The ISC Research Paper Sessions will be held from Monday, June 28 to Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at the ISC High Performance Conference and Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany. The 2021 event expects over 3,700 international attendees and 160 exhibitors.

All submitted research papers will undergo double-blind peer review by a minimum of four reviewers. The 2021 Research Papers Committee is led by Dr. Bradford Chamberlain of HPE, USA and Dr. Ana Lucia Varbanescu of the University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Each accepted paper will receive a free one-day pass for the presenting author on the day of the conference. If physically unable to present at ISC 2021 due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, authors will be permitted to present their papers remotely.

Two best submissions will be shortlisted by the committee for the Hans Meuer Prize. The authors of the winning paper will receive a cash prize of 3,000 Euros, a certificate for the prize and the opportunity to present their work during a special awards session at ISC 2021.

The ISC Research Articles Committee encourages the submission of high quality articles reporting original work in the field of theoretical, experimental and industrial research and development. The ISC submission process will be divided into five tracks.

You will be asked to choose one primary track and one secondary track from the five above for your submission. Publication

Publication of the papers is managed by the chairman of the debates, Dr. Hatem Ltaief of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, Saudi Arabia, and the vice chairman of the debates, Piotr Luszczek, of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, USA.

All accepted research papers will be published free of charge as part of the Springer course notes in computer science (LNCS). Articles will be downloaded free of charge from the Springer website for a limited time after ISC 2021. Authors may also choose to publish open access versions of their articles through Springer if they wish – please see the Springer website for more information and prices.

Proceedings will be indexed in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI), which is part of Clarivate Analytics’ Web of Science, EI Engineering Index (Compendex and Inspec databases), ACM Digital Library, DBLP, Google Scholar, IO-Port, MathSciNet, Scopus and Zentralblatt MATH.
